Hallmark Edge Of Motherhood Cards Product Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

**Reminder: To see a listing of my current giveaways, please check out my left sidebar for direct links.

I am a greeting card fanatic and my "go to" store for my card needs is Hallmark. No matter what the occasion, or no occasion at all, I always seem to find the perfect card at one of my local Hallmark stores!

Hallmark has come out with a line of cards that I identify with so well. It's called the "Edge of Motherhood" series. These cards address the highs and lows of parenting, with humor that is right up my alley. Here are just a few of my favorites from the line.

The inside says: There now...feel better?

The inside says: Hope your birthday is free of bad-mommy moments.

The inside says: Welcome to the "do as I say and not as I did" years.

Mother's Day is this weekend and I'm sure you probably have some moms in your life that would appreciate these cards throughout the year. This Mother's Day will be mark my 5th as a mom to some wonderful children and so to celebrate that milestone, I am giving away a collection of 5 cards from the "Edge of Motherhood" collection!

  1. Wow, the funniest moment...there are always so many! Most are actually mortifying not funny, but it depends on who you ask! My funniest (most mortifying) moment as a mom was when I was in a store (can't remember which) and I was having a conversation with another mom I know. My son kept whining and pulling on my until I asked him what he wanted. He said he hurt his butt and I needed to kiss it! Let me tell you I turned red right then and there!

  5. Funniest mom moment was when my 3-year old son (now 17!), opened the door to the men's restroom at the DMV (which of course was extremely crowded) with his pants around his ankles and asked me to wipe his bottom. How embarassing! LOL

  12. When our girls were about 2 and 3 years old, we were traveling in the Cape Cod area. We had stopped at a gift store vegetable stand type place. Out front the had a life sized, anatomically correct stallion. The girls were small enough to walk under it which they did. Being the observant little children they were, they noticed the "male parts" and asked their Dad what it was. He turned all shades of red and could do nothing but sputter. I walked over and simply said it was where the horse went to the bathroom. OK and off they went leaving a still flustered Dad. Two little old ladies standing nearby had a wonderful case of the giggles. Keep it simple is such a good thing to remember. We sometimes forget that children are children and are asking simple straight forward questions that need simple answers. My poor DH was trying to figure out how to do an anatomy and sex 101 course for them.

  15. We were at a restaurant and the waitress was asking what we all wanted to drink. When it was my turn my daughter interrupted and told the waitress, "My mama only drinks at night." You should have seen the look on her face. I mostly drink at night (iced tea and juice) because all my kids are always snatching my drinks all day long. She didn't know that though LOL.
